
JCCRS - Jewish Community Center for Russian-speaking residents of New York
JCCRS is an organization dedicated to support in all areas of Jewish life, both spiritual and material. We help Russian-speaking Jewish families living in New York. We offer various educational programs under the "Kolel Torah'' umbrella with a monthly scholarship. We are committed to help and offer humanitarian aid to families in need. Our organization can also help you connect with Russian-speaking communities and rabbis around the globe.
Who are we?
Rabbi Menachem Mendel Weissberg

Born 2 Sivan 5757 in Jerusalem, Israel. Son of the Rebbe's emissaries in Moscow: Rabbi Mordechai and Rebbetzin Dina Weissberg. Was brought up in the warm atmosphere of Moscow's Jewish community.
A graduate of the "Tomchei Tmimim" yeshiva in Moscow, as well as the o"Tomchei Tmimim" yeshiva in Kiryat Gat (Israel). Studied at the Central Yeshiva Chabad 770 in Brooklyn. Holds a rabbinical degree from the Chabad Lubavitch High Yeshiva in Brooklyn, New York. Has a shochet (ritual slaughterer) diploma from the Machon Ran Institute for Shechita Training of Moscow.
Married to Rebbetzin Sternie Holzberg. The Chuppah took place on Rosh Chodesh Kislev 5781. Has a daughter and a son.
Rebbetzin Sternie Weissberg

Born 8 Sivan, 5756 in Brooklyn, New York. Daughter of the Rebbe's emissaries in Georgetown, Brooklyn, New York: Rabbi Avraham and Rebbetzin Shuli Holzberg. Was brought up in the Jewish community of Georgetown, Brooklyn.
A graduate of Beth Rivkah HS in Crown Heights, as well as Machon Bina, Israel. Holds a degree in community administration and informal education. Works as a teacher at Neshama Educational Institutions, Bergen Beach.
Married to Rabbi Menachem Mendel Weissberg. The Chuppah took place on Rosh Chodesh Kislev 5781. Has a daughter and a son.
